Diet and preparation
A plantmedicine ceremony has a cleansing effect on all levels. In order to prepare yourself mentally, spiritually and emotionally for the inner journey you intend to make, it is necessary to follow a diet. In addition, you are as receptive as possible for the special experience, because your body can absorb the drink better on an empty stomach and by following the diet.
The following is required:

The day of the ceremony only a light breakfast

3 days before the ceremony no coffee, alcohol, cigarettes or drugs.

Eat light meals and no meat for a week.

In order to preserve body energy, sexual abstinence is recommended.
Furthermore, foods containing Tyramine can cause headaches in combination with plantmedicine.
Below is a list of foods that should be avoided 24 hours before the ceremony, but preferably a week:

processed dairy products (yoghurt, sour cream and buttermilk)

old and perennial cheese, farm cheese or other unpasteurized cheeses cheese and young cheese are allowed

the following types of fruit in large quantities: figs, bananas, pineapple, avocados, raisins, prunes and raspberries

LSA (morning glory and baby Hawaiian woodrose seeds)

MDA related herbs (sweet and nutmeg)

caffeine-containing products (coffee, tea *, cola, energy drinks, etc.) * fresh mint tea and tea free of theine are allowed

St John's wort

Certain medications for cough, cold and hay fever that can be obtained without a prescription such as: Otrivin and dextromethorphan containing agents (Dampo, VapoTab "Vicks", Darolan et al.).
